Off-Color Barytes
In many applications, dry grounded off-color barytes can be an economical alternative to white barytes with a high brigthness. These products are the perfect solution for all applications non-critical in regard to color, but still requiring a controlled particle size distribution and a guaranteed high density.

Sound insulation (construction and plastic industry), friction pads and clutch linings, drilling industry, floor linings, mastics, joint sealer and sealents, pigment preparations, plastic, rubber, adhesives, glass and polishing agents, radiation protection (medicine and nondestructive testing), paints

White Barytes
The white barytes offered by Sachtleben Minerals GmbH & Co. KG are characterized by a high brightness and a guaranteed low yellowness. They are color neutral due to their low refractive index. They hardly contain calcium carbonate, offer a low electrical conductivity and guarantee a low binder demand. Due to their low silica content they hardly cause any abrasivity, what results in decreasing maintenance costs and increasing equipment life times.
Range of use:
Paints, floor coverings, filler and pigments, pigment preparations, primers and putties, adhesives, plastic, rubber, glass and polishing agents.

Quality monitored and certified concrete additives (tel quel) with grain sizes of 0 / 16 mm, 1 / 8 mm and 0 / 2 mm.
Granulous fillers are offering a high bulk density (Baryt-Sande) with grain sizes of 100 / 500 µm and 500 / 2000 µm.
